Description
The early demos leaned toward a death/thrash sound, but by late 1990, the band shifted direction with the recording of “Cremation” and “Worlds of Nothingness.” These tracks marked a departure from their earlier work, embracing a heavier, downtuned death metal style reminiscent of Rottrevore and Autopsy. “Cremation” was later featured on the Projections of a Stained Mind compilation (CBR Records) in 1991.
Members of Macrodex went on to form notable bands like Crypt of Kerberos, At the Gates and House of Usher.
