The Hellshock / Consume split 7″ EP is a massive collaboration between two titans of the Pacific Northwest (Portland/Seattle) crust scene, released in 2003. This record is a definitive example of “PDX-style” stenchcore—a blend of heavy UK-influenced crust with metallic thrash elements.

Hellshock (Portland, OR): Featuring members of Atrocious Madness, From Ashes Rise, and World Burns To Death. Their side delivers dark, mid-tempo metallic crust influenced by bands like Amebix and Antisect.
Consume (Seattle, WA): Featuring members of State of Fear. Their style is faster and more aggressive, heavily influenced by the Japanese “Burning Spirits” sound and Swedish D-beat.
