Death Metal from Turku, Finland. The Finnish death metal quartet EXTINGUISHED is back with a new filthy concoction of raw twisted death metal.
“Nasty and trendless” Death Metal, blending elements of old school death metal (OSDM) with a raw, “low-budget production” sound. Reviewers have praised its “vomit-inducing grooves” and “winding, leftfield riffage,” comparing the sound to a mix of early Autopsy (specifically Mental Funeral) and a touch of the Finnish morbid melody, or even an unholy spawn of Autopsy and Demilich. The EP uses thick, bass-heavy guitar crunches and low, indecipherable vocals, creating an atmosphere of “pure dread”.
