DANISH WITCHING EVIL METAL! After reissuing gems like CRIONIC and MENTAL DECAY, here’s another absolute classic from the holy grail of the Danish 80s Metal scene… With their evil, haunting atmospheres – BATTALION were combining the best elements of early day thrash/speed metal with a slower, doomish vibe. You can hear influences drawing from Artillery, Slayer, Venom, Nasty Savage and Celtic Frost.
In their short existence, they recorded two demo-tapes (1986-1987), both included in this collection. Sourced and mastered from the original 1/4″ reels.
Including poster and square 12 page booklet including rare photos, lyrics, flyers and scans of the original cassettes.
